Yes, it was July 11, 1969, 57 years ago to this day that we opened our first office upstairs in the Whisky a Go Go on the Sunset Strip.  Wait – that was 9 days before the Moon landing and 34 days before Woodstock!

Back then, it was one person trying to solve a simple problem: musicians and bandleaders needed a way to find each other, and that hasn’t changed. What’s changed is the method – from local word of mouth to a platform connecting musicians with gigs nationwide.

Fifty seven years of matches made, bands built, tours filled, and subs found. We’re glad to still be doing what we started, so thanks for being part of this – whether you found your last gig here, your current lineup, or you’re about to post your first listing.
